It goes without saying that the global metal scene would not be the same without Sepultura. For 35 years now, the Brazilian icons are not only a band revered worldwide; they have been, are and forever will be at the very forefront of Thrash Metal, trailblazing ever since they released their long-since legendary debut album “Morbid Visions” in 1986.

While quickly establishing themselves as leaders of the second wave of Thrash already in the late eighties, to this day they never came even close to stagnation. “Quadra”, their mighty new undertaking, is proof of a will unbroken, a thirst unquenched and a quality so staggeringly high it’s a wonder this band doesn’t implode. Now three albums deep into what may very well be their strongest incarnation yet – uniting the talents of old-school members Andreas Kisser (guitars, vocals) and Paulo Xisto Pinto Jr. (bass), vocal force of nature Derrick Leon Green (vocals) and drummer Eloy Casagrande – Sepultura are an unleashed power to be reckoned with, uniting bucketloads of experience and youthful vigour in a totally revived way.

DIETH

DIETH is an international Death & Thrash metal band hailing founded in Gdańsk, Poland. Created from three of the most powerful forces in their respective genres, guitarist/vocalist Guilherme Miranda (former Entombed A.D.), drummer Michal Lysejko (former Decapitated) and bassist David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth) have pushed beyond the stereotypes of their genres to create a charismatic new sound, one which is rich with inventive guitar riffs, tight drum grooves, technical prowess, guttural vocals and catchy melodies, serving as the passageway for their new declaration.

Explains Guilherme, “It has been so much happening lately (in life), feeling the need to express ourselves accordingly. Create something new, have a fresh start.
Personally, it was a matter of life or death to come back playing music. To do something truly meaningful and finally cope with the anger and grief.
Sometimes you have to die inside to be reborn. This is what DIETH represents, a new sonic driving force that leave the past behind.”

Continues Ellefson, “The three of us have all been recognized in our respective bands and careers but at some point, we had to close the door on those exploits to let something new begin and now we have found it in DIETH. In fact, the name itself is about dying to one’s past so that something new can spring forth to create the next chapter of life. And, that is a connection the three of us hold in common.”

Drummer Michał adds “For me, DIETH is awakening from a creative lethargy, with the full feeling that the time has come. The lightness with which DIETH’s music flows from us, combining our inspirations and experiences into a whole, is proof of this.
The fact that the band was formed in the Tri-City I come from has a symbolic meaning for me.”

The video for the group’s first single “In the Hall of the Hanging Serpents” was filmed in Gdańsk and directed by (Maciej Pieloch – MP Productions), which captures the fervor of the band’s heavy, charismatic sound.

CHAVER

CHAVER is a heavy band based in Leipzig, Germany.
Starting out in 2016, the band came through with numerous tours all over Europe and a handful of Splits, EPs and demos, deeply rooted in fast Metal and aggressive Punk.
In 2019, CHAVER released their highly acclaimed first album TRANSFERENCE through Injustice Records. For the first time, the band had the chance to display their full potential with material ranging from rapid Death Metal and heavy Hardcore, over to fast D-Beat, harsh Sludge and eerie Black Metal. CHAVER experimented with clean and atmospheric guitar soundscapes, writing lyrics of frustration, war and hate.
TRANSFERENCE led to extensive touring all over the European continent.
A CELLAR DOOR, an even darker chapter of the bands history, came out in 2020 and CHAVER was willing to break new grounds. The idea of testing around with electronics, industrial effects, clean voices and alienated instruments became a crucial part of the record.
Later that year, CHAVER teamed up with lala Studios to record a massive production of a livesession, out as physical release on INJUSTICE RECORDS.
