Jade MacRae ist eine australische Blues- und Soul-Sängerin, deren Songs den Sound von Etta James, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Big Maybelle und Dinah Washington ins 21. Jahrhundert transportieren. Mit „Up above your Head“ bringt sie 2020 neben ihren zahlreichen Kollaborationen mit internationalen Musikern bereits ihr drittes Solo-Album heraus. Sie steht nicht nur den Hauptteil des Jahres mit Joe Bonamassa auf der Bühne, sondern fand im Laufe ihrer Karriere auch noch Zeit, mit Größen wie Ray Charles, James Brown, Dave Stewart (Eurhythmics), John Legend und Jimmy Barnes zusammenzuarbeiten.
